d’Amico Ship Ishima India Private Limited has its presence in India for nearly twenty years. We have our head office in Mumbai supported by field offices in Delhi and Kolkata and are responsible for manning operations in India for Damico group and third party Owners by providing qualified, experienced and efficient officers and crew onboard vessels.

We not only recruit and deploy highly competent and qualified seafarers but also provides value-based training to our seafarers and uphold their welfare. Our strength lies in providing ownership work environment, fact based transparency, and excellent shore based support with flexibility to improve our system and procedures so as to counter the challenges of a very dynamic maritime environment.

d’Amico Ship Ishima India Private Limited has a complete setup essential for meeting the manning and training requirements of the company. A complete and update record of all information pertaining to the officers and crew is maintained by the Mumbai office. Ensuring a proper rotation of postings, good training facilities, proper evaluation of performance and feedback, is carried out by us. This helps in maintaining a good standard and high level of professionalism of the crew on board.

To work towards the above objectives Damico India maintains a good library for officers, which maintains updated books and publications and a fully equipped training center, with necessary training software, where in-house training of officers and ratings are carried out as and when required.

d’Amico India has about 2000 Indian officers and crew on its roster with a remarkable retention rate of more than 80%. This undoubtedly reflects the high standards that the company maintains and the professional manner in which its ships are run.

With highly motivated and professional crew and an efficient management team ashore, the expansion plans of Damico India is envisaged to run parallel with the growth and development of Indian Seafarers.
